Big Green Moving Machine Company is a Darwen-based removals business, run by David Nicol. We're straightforward, practical and happy to muck in — whether you're moving across the road or across the country.
Our story, kept simple
We started Big Green Moving Machine Company because we saw too many people getting stung by removal firms that turn up late, rush the job and hit them with surprise charges. We decided to do it differently — keep it local, keep it honest, and put the graft in.
Today we cover full and part removals for homes and offices, a full packing service, and furniture dismantle and reassembly. Every van goes out with 2–3 experienced movers, so there's always enough hands to lift heavy wardrobes, big sofas and awkward fridges without risking damage.
We're based in Darwen (BB3) and cover Blackburn with Darwen and the wider North West. But we also regularly travel across the UK for longer-distance moves — if you're leaving the area or heading towards it, just ask.
Whether it's a single sofa, a part load or a full house, we'll turn up with the right van, the right crew and the right attitude to get the job done properly.
